Virtual Therapy Across Arizona
You don’t have to live near North Phoenix to work with us. Every therapist on our team offers virtual sessions to clients anywhere in Arizona, so the same care available at our office is available from wherever you actually are, whether that’s across town or across the state.
We’re a real Arizona practice, not an out-of-state company that added Arizona to a list of states it operates in. Our therapists are Arizona-licensed, our office is in North Phoenix, and virtual therapy here means working with the same team you’d meet in person, not a rotating pool of contractors you’ve never spoken to. Whether you call it virtual therapy or online therapy, it’s the same licensed care, just delivered by video instead of in person.
Who We See Virtually in Arizona
Individuals — navigating stress, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or just needing a space to think out loud.
Couples — working through communication, trust, or the everyday friction that builds up over time.
Families — when one person’s struggle ripples out to everyone else in the house.
Teens and kids — big feelings, school stress, friendships, identity, and everything that comes with growing up.
Kids & Adults exploring medication management — alongside therapy or on its own. (Note: We do not provide medication management ourselves, but we have strong referrals partnerships with psychiatric providers)
How Virtual Sessions Work
You’ll meet with your therapist through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform at your scheduled time, same as an in-person appointment, just from wherever you are. All you need is a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
Arizona law requires you to be physically located in Arizona at the time of each session, since our therapists are licensed to practice here. If you’re traveling out of state, we can pick back up once you’re back in Arizona.
Where We See Clients Virtually
Our North Phoenix office is where the in-person care happens, but virtual sessions mean location isn’t the deciding factor. We work with clients across the Valley, including Cave Creek, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Deer Valley, as well as clients elsewhere in Arizona who’d rather not commute to an office at all.
Insurance & Getting Started
Most of our clients use insurance to cover their sessions, and we’re in-network with United Healthcare, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, and Medicare. If you don’t see your plan listed, reach out and we’ll help you figure out your options.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is virtual or online therapy actually as effective as in-person therapy? For most people, yes. A 2024 systematic review published by the National Institutes of Health found that differences in outcomes between telehealth and in-person care were generally small and not clinically meaningful across most conditions, including anxiety and depression. The relationship with your therapist matters more than the format.
Is virtual therapy covered by insurance in Arizona? Most major Arizona insurance plans cover virtual sessions the same way they cover in-person visits, but coverage details vary by plan. We’re happy to help you understand your options, but we always recommend confirming your exact benefits with your insurance provider directly.
How much does therapy cost? Our private-pay rate ranges between $75–$150 per session. If you’re using insurance, your actual cost depends on your specific plan, whether you’ve met your deductible, and your copay or coinsurance, so it can vary. We’re happy to help you understand your options, but we always recommend confirming your exact benefits with your insurance provider directly.
Can I switch between virtual and in-person sessions? Yes. Many clients mix the two depending on their week, meeting in person sometimes and virtually other times, whatever fits.
What do I need for a virtual session? A private, quiet space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a working camera and microphone. That’s it.
